Sara Topsøe-Jensen receives the Merete Hegner award.

Sara Topsøe-Jensen was nominated for the “Rosamund Gilder/Martha Coigney International Award” by the League of Professional Theatre Women in New York, USA. The award aims at creating and broadening the knowledge of internationally remarkable women within theatre in order to inspire women theatre professionals in the USA and to increase international awareness towards women theatre professionals as substantial contributors to our shared global cultural future.

The performance LEAFING and puppeteer Annemarie Jeppesen received The Award for Best Animation Performance at the international children’s theatre festival “Ya-mal, privet” in Western Siberia, Russia.

Sara Topsøe-Jensen, the artistic director at Carte Blanche, was nominated for The 2008 ASSITEJ Award for Artistic Excellence at the XVIth World Congress of ASSITEJ held in Adelaide, Australia.

2005-2009
Sara Topsøe-Jensen was elected a member of The Reimbursement Commitee by The Ministry of Culture.

Carte Blanche received the Horsens Kommune Children’s Theatre Award for showing new ways in Danish childrens’ theatre.
